By keeping the design minimal and staying true to its materials, Elemento presents a truly open and honest vinyl listening experience.
DESIGN PROCESS
Leather band as the strap due to its natural breathability and durabililty, attached to the metal headband with a simple clasp that is adjustable with a single screw.
In line with the minimal design direction, a singular piece to hold both the driver and the metal band resulted in a overall reduction of parts.
Closed cell polyurethane foam chosen for ear cups.
Exploration of different cuts to test compressibility - ideal balance for comfort and stability is around 55% solid foam
Square cuts provided the best turnability, after going through user testing.
